Position: *Informatica Developer*
Location: *OMAHA**, NE***
Duration: *6+ Months*
Rate: *$35-$40/hr* all inclusive on C2C
*Job Description:*
*7-9 years of MINIMUM experience and need the references from the past 3
clients*
*GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: *
Create *ETL mappings* to extract data from multiple legacy systems.
Transform and load the data into the Enterprise Data Warehouse using
*Informatica
8.1.1*. Set up batches and work flow sessions to run these mappings. Assist
in designing Informatica mappings and data model structural changes. Assist
in the design and creation of transformer models. Understand business
challenges & translate them into process/technical solutions. Creation of
documents related to the ETL process.
*KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: *
Describe the educational qualifications, training, and experience someone
should have to be hired into this job.
General
× Strong analytical and problem solving skills
× Strong understanding of relational databases
× Good Understanding of Data Warehousing best practices
× Good understanding of tools used to access and present data
× Good communication and interpersonal skills
× At least 4 years of experience with Informatica, including v7 and
v8
Experience with XML
× C, C++, HTML, DHTML, PL/SQL, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, Shell
Scripting, COBOL, Visual Basic, Java Script
× Informatica Power Center 7.1/7.0/6.2/5.1, Informatica Power Mart
7.0/6.2/5.1/4.7
× Experience with Data Modeling is a plus
BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required
