Service Transition Release Analyst
*Description*

Within the team we are now seeking a highly motivated, driven and
experienced individual to join us as Service Release Manager as a part of
Transition team for Digital Commerce. Once onboard, you will be responsible
for establishing and managing the release management practice of selected
service deployments. As well as engage, interface and manage end-to-end
successful service line integrations or future service functionality
deployments in Digital Commerce. You will be working in close relationship
with Services Product management, Services R&D, service operations team and
Bangalore service support team. Also you will be working in closely with
Change management, Pipeline and Release management, and Quality teams.

*General Purpose*
To effectively manage a virtual team of specialists to ensure the delivery
and deployment of new releases, configuration changes to live environment in
a professional and controlled manner.

*Main Responsibilities*
• Manages the performance of the team and individuals.
• Ensures quality of business infrastructure service and support delivered.
• Release and release test planning validation
• Ensures that the integrity of the live environment is protected and that
the correct components are released.
• Ensures that deployed Releases and the resulting services meet customer
expectations, and verifies that IT operations are able to support the new
service.
• Documents all changes in the IT Infrastructure and its components
(Configuration Items), in order to maintain a minimum amount of interruptive
effects upon the running operation.
• Cooperation with Application Operations and Data Center teams


*Main Responsibility Area*
• Release management in People services
• Ensure consistency and quality through the lifecycle of releases and
ensure multi site deployments
• Support wide range of deployment activities and customer interface to
ensure successful integrations and deployments of functionality from
Services service lines
• 3rd party supplier mgmt interface for integrated technologies
• Scheduling, evaluating, recording, reporting of change requests jointly
with Change Management Team
• Ability to prioritize and ensure that results are gained; problems solved
with urgency
• Absolute customer centricity
• Ability to function in a fast paced and multidimensional role, where
interdependencies are many and effects from NOT managing them on the system
level result in immediate business impacts
• Able to work under pressure & still keep schedule/results, with good
communication, organization and keeping dependencies in mind
• Ability to have fun, while understanding the seriousness of ensuring our
global & world class capabilities

Network
• Individual Services Service lines, R&D teams (architects and developers)
and Application Operations teams. Nokia IT, Common Internet Infrastructure
Team members and cross organizational teams within Common operations &
planning Organization

*Individual Qualifications*

• Typically 8-12 years relevant experience. Recognized expert in their field
(depth & breadth).
• Degree strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of IT technical infrastructure components and IT
service management and end user support processes
• Capability to lead problem resolution involving significant complexity and
personnel from several line units and geographical locations
• Financial management skills and skills to translate IT terms
understandable by the business management
• ITIL certification is an advantage
• Previous expertise in Massive Global Infrastructure systems & Consumer
Internet Service experiences

Virtualized, Operating Systems: UNIX, Linux and Windows, monitoring tools,
Middleware: Weblogic and Webshpere, and Databases: Oracle and MySQL.
