SOA Engineer
Location: Central Jersey. & Other Locations
Duration: 6+ Months

Here is the job description:
* The Services Engineer is responsible for the technical design and
implementation of shared services based on technical and business
requirements consistent with the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
strategy. The Services Engineer will implement requirements on behalf of
potentially multiple projects and applications in a manner that fosters
re-use of shared code (services). The Services Engineer must be adept at
working with multiple teams. The ideal candidate will possess;
* A strong foundation in a number of SOA-related technical software
disciplines (including Web Services standards, Java Enterprise Edition,
eXtensible Markup Lanaguage (XML) and related technologies (XQuery and
XSLT), SOAP, WSDL and XACML),
* The ability to implement on numerous technologies including
traditional high-level language coding (Java, C++, C#), business process
modeling notation (BPMN), XML data transformations (XSLT), XML schema
definition (XSD), interface definition (WSDL)
* The interpersonal skills to mediate potential conflicting goals with
respect to service implementation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate
familiarity with leading Web Services frameworks (for example, Apache AXIS).
* The Services Developer will ideally be comfortable with
industry-leading Interactive Development Environments (IDEs) such as
Eclipse. The Services Engineer should be well versed in industry-recognized
software design patterns.
Position 2:
OSB-BPEL
Multiple Locations and Positions
Primary Responsibilities
* Develop EDA (Event Driven Architecture) and SOA-based business and
data services using industry best practices.
* Prepare existing Java web service and SQL code for production
deployment.
* Perform unit and integration testing on existing web services and
work with the QA team to debug and resolve issues.
* Engage with business analysts, data analysts, application developers
and solution architects to translate business and technical requirements
into scalable and repeatable middleware solutions.
* Participate in and lead design and code reviews to ensure quality
and integrity of project deliverables.
* Escalates critical issues to management and is able to help solve
identified problems.
* Conduct performance tuning and load testing.
* Author and contribute to technical design documentation.
Required Skills
* Solid programming experience in Java/J2EE, JAXB, JPA and web service
development
* Strong knowledge of relational database concepts
* Demonstrates capacity for learning quickly and multi-tasking in a
fast-paced environment
Required Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or
technical equivalent.
* Minimum 8 years of related experience, healthcare experience
preferred.
* Strong hands-on experience with the following technologies:
* Java/J2EE, JAXB, JPA and web service development
* XML parsing and design
* Oracle Database
* Weblogic Application Server
* Previous experience with Oracle/BEA Fusion Middleware including
JDeveloper, OSB and BPEL is a plus.
