Mainframe Developer
Location : Atlanta, GA.
Total Experience: 6+ yrs
Duration - Long Term Contract
Rate - $45/hr C2C all inclusive
Start date: Immediate
o Have 3+ years of experience in the below mentioned skill set.
o Proven track record of development experience on mainframe technologies
in multiple phases
o Proven experience of end to end Development and implementation
experience
o Proven experience in producing quality design documentation
o Proven track record of industry standard Quality Assurance practices
o Experienced in industry standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
o Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
o Ability to work with other interface development team to understand code
changes and review business requirements to match development activity and
identify any gaps
o Ability to work in a multi-team environment and communicate with people
from diverse cultural backgrounds and from all levels within the
organization
o Exhibit integrity in all decisions and actions
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Strong technical skills in -
Mainframe:
. JCL - Required
. COBOL - Required
. DB2 - Required
. EZTRIEVE - Required
. REXX - Required
QA:
. HP Quality Center or Test Director
o Specialty skill set in Customer Services and Master Data Management
o Work within the Customer team for the Project
o Analysis of new requirements or defects.
o Prepare Low level and High Level design document or technical
specifications.
o Conduct design / review code meetings.
o Code and unit test various artifacts in Cobol, JCL, EZTRIEVE as per
requirements of project.
o Work with various business interface team to design the data feeds
needed by them
o Develop SQL queries to fetch data from various UCM /Sales table as per
requirements
o Interact with other THD teams or business partners to determine
requirements, address issues/data analysis or discuss processes.
o Deploying the solution in production
o Ability to take business requirements and develop functional design and
help in technical design.
o Demonstrate a proven record of timely execution and delivery.
o Ability to ensure quality of the delivered components.
o Should work independently and lead project
o Strong oral and written communications skills
o Work creatively and analytically in a fast-pace
o Be extremely proactive and independent
o Be a value addition to the team to collaborate and achieve success by
completing project goals
