*Performance Test Engineer @ $42/hr * *Springfield**, MA*** *Contract* Experience Level: 6+yrs of Testing experience • Gather Performance requirements, capture details about business critical scenarios/core services • Identify and recommend key performance metrics that will be captured during performance testing and collaborate with experts to finalize the metrics to be collected • Create load test scenarios and execute tests • Validate whether the existing core services are performing at the desired service level based on the comparison with the SLAs defined for the core services. • Collect client side and server side statistics and analyze/identify components which consume more resources and isolate bottlenecks • Publish report with detailed observations and high level recommendations. • Assess the existing performance testing tool setup in terms of version and compatibility with the application testing, identify the gaps and provide recommendations • Assess the existing test environment in terms of size and scale with production, identify the gaps and provide recommendations • Implement best practices and Cognizant innovations on performance testing and monitoring for process improvement. • Effective oral and written communication. • Analytical and problem solving skills. • Experience in the HP Performance Center/Loadrunner toolset. • Must have a strong technical background and be familiar with a variety of systems architectures. *Regards,** Ram Systel, Inc.
