Position Integration Engineer Location: Chicgo, IL Duration: 3+ Months Rate: $55/Hr All Inclusive This job requires programming within the business logic layer (Application Server) and providing integration APIs to the client and database layers of our Ecommerce Channel Management and Competitive Intelligence Systems. The systems are built using C# .Net, SQL Server 2008 (stored procedures), and WCF. In this position you will:Work under limited supervision of the VP of Engineering as an integration engineer. Contribute to requirements definition, design and reviews. Participate in all stages of software development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, software system design, coding, testing, release, and support. Provide technical expertise for small teams focused on specific software modules. Ensure software created and released conforms to quality requirements by accurately writing and executing test plans. Work with other departments to achieve cross-functional goals to satisfy customer expectations. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Develop highly scalable, highly available, and extremely accurate integration engineering solutions - Re-engineer current integration components and services for performance, scalability and availability - Work with other members of the technology team to identify dependencies and coordinate deliverables - Unit test code, and create and execute approved test plans for modules - Investigate, identify root cause, and solve system defects - Work with internal bug tracking and project management tools - Adhere to project and release timelines - Interact with customers/users to support software acceptance process and act as a liaison between development and user community - Investigate and report problems - Participate in the build out of QA, Staging and UAT environments *REQUIREMENTS:* - 5+ years of engineering experience using Microsoft technologies - Expert in C# .NET development *- KEY to Hire:* *Experience in developing ecommerce integrations with eBay and Amazon.* - Extensive development experience using WCF - Expert Web services development - Strong knowledge of data structures, database design, stored procedures and query optimization - Data integration experience using C# and SQL Server 2005/2008 - Experience working with large data sets (Millions of Rows, 30+ GB of data) - Domain experience in E-commerce, order management or BI systems a plus - Extensive experience writing transactional stored procedures - Ability to debug data using test harnesses - Experience with NUnit or other unit testing tools - Proficient in C++, C, VC++ - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Comfortable working within an Agile Development Team - Experience with PHP/MySQL, linq is highly desireable Regards Sujeet Salver American Professionals Inc -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
