*Title: Project Manager with Software Dev efforts, Agile methodology*

*Location: Plano, TX (Need Locals, F 2 F Must)*

*Duration: CTH (So only GC’s or Citizens)*

*Rate: $45/hr on CTC or 1099 all inclusive. *

*Interview Type: Phone Interview & In Person interview*

Positions in this function are involved in the definition, management, and
implementation of significant technology focused projects.  Positions are
business specialists and technology generalists that manage, direct and
interface with business clients.  Align technology solutions with business
strategies, working primarily with management.  Proactively identify
opportunities, conduct analyses, needs assessments, cost/benefit assessments
and broker other IS services.

*Primary Responsibilities*

-        Assesses and interprets customer needs

-        Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most
complex analysis

-        Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately
complex analysis

-        Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others

-        Acts as a resource for others with less experience

-        Define project scope, deliverables, schedules, budgets and tasks

o       Work with client to define project objectives and plans

o       Understand and document client’s current working environment and
processes

o       Estimate duration and resource requirements

o       Identify project risks

o       Identify project ROI

o       Identify and document areas for improvement through either system
functionality or process re-engineering

o       Develop, document and present business solutions

-        Conduct project kickoff, steering committee, team meetings,
brainstorming sessions and other project meeting facilitation

-        Track/manage projects from initiation to successful completion

-        Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues

-        Communicate project issues, problems, and changes

-        Successfully identify risk factors, develop risk mitigation
strategies, and manage and mitigate risks

-        Lead projects to overall success

o       Manage the system implementation

o       Collaborate with the client to create standards and processes based
on client-specific business needs

o       Prepare and deliver training as needed

o       Track system problems and enhancements

o       Work with technical team members to liaise between clients,
technology, and vendors when troubleshooting problems

o       Serve as a focal point for all communication between the client, the
project team, and other management

o       Collaborate with cross-functional departments as required.

o       Set and manage expectations

*Qualifications***

Bachelor’s degree

Formal project management training preferred

Demonstrated project management record that includes:

   - 2+ years experience leading projects with cross-functional staff with
   high integration across multiple lines of business.
   - Proven track record managing projects using either an agile software
   development methodology or a structured project management methodology,
   delivering projects on time and on budget.
   - 2+ years experience managing software development projects.
   - Experience in managing small, mid and large-scale projects.
   - Experience with project teams in Process Mapping, Use Case development,
   and User Interface design.
   - Proven track record of increasing demonstrated responsibility and
   success.

1+ year’s health insurance industry experience preferred

*Skills***

·        Strong project management skills.

·        Advanced computer proficiency in a windows-based environment.

·        Ability to use project planning tools such as Microsoft Project.

·        Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.

·        Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain strong
relationships.

·        Extremely detail oriented, with strong organizational,
prioritization and analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

·        Ability to balance multiple tasks with competing priorities across
multiple projects.

·        Strong leadership abilities to lead project teams to accomplish
project goals. Related tasks include, but are not limited to, recruiting,
selecting, training, motivating, retaining, developing and managing
employees and their performance.

·        Excellent Time Management skills, ability to work autonomously,
high level of initiative, demonstrated ability to rapidly assimilate and
work with technical concepts, and expertise in solving complex problems in
innovative ways.
