Position: *Oracle Apps DBA* Location: *NYC, NY* Duration: *12+ Months* *Job Description:* * * *Skills Required:* *Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) R12/11i, Oracle 10g/11g, Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) 10g/11g on UNIX (HP-UX preferred), DR Solutions (Data Guard proffered), SSO/OID with EBS R12* *Responsibilities:* - Installation, Configuration, patching and upgrades of Oracle E-Business Suite R12. - Installation, Configuration, patching and upgrades of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (Hyperion Planning, Financial Management, Essbase) - Installation, Configuration, patching and upgrades of Oracle Core technology products Database, Application servers, Middleware and Security Management. - Working closely with Infrastructure service team in server/storage/network configurations. - Support and Perform Database and Application clones, Refreshes and trouble shooting performance. Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Information Technology or equivalent experience. The successful candidate must possess excellent project management, technical writing and oral communication skills. This individual must demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment, manage multiple complex projects, represent the organization in dealings with customers and vendors, and render sound business decisions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required. The candidate must have the following technical skills: - Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of hands on experience on *Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) R12/11i* Installation, configuration, maintenance troubleshooting and support - Must have a minimum of 5 years *Oracle DBA* experience and in-depth understanding of Oracle Databases including current 10g/11g. - Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in *Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC)* 10g/11g on *UNIX* platform preferably *HP-UX*. - Hands on experience on Oracle EBS shared application file systems, *DR*solutions like 10g/11g *Data Guard* - Proficient in all aspects of "system administration" functionality within *Oracle E-Business Suite* - Hands on experience with applications/tech stack/database upgrades, cloning, patching, and backups/recovery - Good Understanding of Storage, Network, server technology, operating systems for optimal application performance is required. - Hands on experience on Installation and configuration of *Oracle Identity Management Infrastructure* and *Single Sign On (SSO)* - Hands on experience on integration of *Oracle SSO/OID* with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 is required - Experience in supporting Development and Production environments *Additional Skills:* - Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Suite (formerly Hyperion Planning, Financial Management and Essbase) experience is a plus. - Excellent ability to research, evaluate and recommend technical solutions - Excellent planning, research, time management, multi-tasking, problem resolution in a demanding situation supporting production systems and decision making abilities - Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal business and technical teams as well as vendors and consultants We shall get back to you shortly upon your resume getting short-listed for a technical discussion.
