*Position Description/Responsibilities:*
*SharePoint Consultant** (MOSS 2007) *
· Candidates should have more than five years experience with
Microsoft Development platform as well as experience with Windows SharePoint
Services (WSS) and the SharePoint Portal Server (SPS).
· Experience with MOSS 2007 is required. In addition to possessing a
strong technical background, the SharePoint Consultant will also have a
strong BA (business analyst) background.
*Required experience**: *
- SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services architecture
experience
- SharePoint Portal Server and Windows SharePoint Services implementation
and deployment experience including creation of custom web parts
- Experience with SharePoint Designer
- Experience consulting with clients on the design and business value of
portal solutions
- Strong understanding of collaboration processes and issues
- Experience working with customer’s internal business processes and
developing detailed analysis of how to effectively deploy SharePoint
Services throughout the enterprise environment
- Excellent consulting skills and the ability to work effectively with
clients and team members
- Must be proficient in the full development lifecycle
- Experience with Microsoft ILM
- Experience with MOSS 2007
- Experience with InfoPath 2007 and Workflow
*Position Requirements/Technical Skills**:*
- Providing technical leadership to the programming teams on a wide range
of technology areas including e-Commerce, system integration, .NET
development, SOA best practices and solutions delivery
- Acquiring an in-depth understanding of the business purpose,
requirements, and desired outcomes from a global perspective
- Designing solutions, integrating necessary components and maintaining
the application and its architecture
- Recommending highly secure, cost effective, high performing technical
solutions that maximize business value
- Providing accurate scoping and estimation of development efforts based
on solution requirements
- Experience with Microsoft server products like BizTalk Server 2004/2006
and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/SharePoint 2003and SilverLight
is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plus
*Preferred skills: *
- Development experience within the .NET framework
- Ability to lead a SharePoint engagement
- Experience with XSLT
*Qualifications *
- 8+ years experience developing large scale and multi-tiered Web
applications
- Applied understanding of software development life cycle, and ability
to adjust and lead in a fast-paced environment
- Proven track record integrating large systems
- Proven architecture background (applications, data, and security)
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong interest
in tackling diverse technical problems
- Hands-on experience in development using ASP.NET, C# and related
Microsoft software development tools
- Knowledge in Web-related technologies, e.g. HTTP, DHTML, CSS/JavaScript
and browser compatibility issues
- Experience with knowledge of SQL Server databases
- Experience with XML, XML Schemas and related technologies a plus
- Ability and desire to communicate the value of technology and change
- Ability to build relationships and influence others
