*Position Title* – Jr. Java Developer
*Location* – Trenton, NJ
*Duration *– 6 Months
*Description*
This individual will work as part of a team - developing software, using
some data-field mapping, using Global Justice XML data structures -
integrating a data sharing application across numerous state and county Law
Enforcement agencies.
-Years of Relevant Experience: 2 (+) years
Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
*Role Description:*
Work with FAs to gather and interpret user reqs into design
Once proficient in the data will also perform data testing to a defined spec
with these agencies.
Work with Functional Architects to gather and interpret user requirements
into design.
Familiar with Web Service design, coding, testing.
Familiar with various RDBMS platforms for data extracts.
Consultative and excellent communication skills.
Excellent documentation skills for standards, requirements, specifications.
Ability to work in a team.
Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component & assembly
testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Programmers
typically are involved in maintenance (including production support),
enhancement & development work.
Code enhancement and development and/or required fixes to production
problems, following technical standards.
Test enhancement plans.
Participate in code reviews.
Create and provide operational documentation.
Utilize design tools, debugging tools, and environment specific tools as
necessary to create, test, and implement an application.
Research problems .
Follow quality standards.
