Position: OBIEE Architect Location: Canton, OH
Duration: Long Term Employment: Contractual Rate: $Negotiable Minimum Experience / Relevance 1. 8yrs in BI/DWH with variety of platforms and industries. 2. 5yrs of relevant experience in OBIEE /OBIA/Siebel Analytics Platform 3. Must have Worked on at least 3 OBIA (prepackaged Analytics) implementation. Skills (Mandatory): 1. Advising operation team on Installation /Configure/Customize OBIA (7.9.6, 7.9.5, 7.9.4 and lower) & OBIEE Infrastructure with recommended Web Servers and Hardware. 2. Good background on Data models of at least 2 of ERP/CRM systems OracleR12/11i; SAP; PeopleSoft. 3. Serve as the subject matter expert for data modeling in OBIEE demonstrating expertise in Oracle BI Server, Oracle BI Answers, Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, and Oracle BI Publisher, BI Delivers, DAC server. 4. Should know the different configuration options that exist for failover, load balancing, caching, security, etc with respect to OBIEE. 5. Customizing the Functional Setups of OBIA & ETL Mappings (Pre-Packaged Analytics) for modules like Financial, Procurement and Spend Analytics respectively. 6. Expert in Industry leading ETL/Data Integration tools like Informatica (8.x, 7.x.); Oracle Data Integrator; Oracle Warehouse Builder. 7. Integrate OBIEE with OLTP web application. 8. Should able to configure OBIEE to reflect any changes in ERP transaction data like Delete/Update changes 9. Should have Functional knowledge in various Oracle modules of Financial and Supply chain Skills (Optional) The following are also desired but not required: 1. OBIEE/Siebel Analytics certification. 2. JAVA, JAVA Script, HTML, DHTML. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Participate in research, requirements definition, planning, design and execution of OBIEE projects on enterprise Business Intelligence initiatives. 2. Knowledge of/experience with formal delivery methodologies. 3. Configure and Administer OBIEE Environment including recommendations around optimal utilization of Hardware for large implementations. 4. Manage customer expectations to ensure strong customer satisfaction by meeting the business needs for IT systems in a timely manner. 5. Should leverage this experience to develop an OBI practice within company.
