I have a requirement with our end client Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. It is
for 6 months.
Position:
Infrastructure Project Manager
Responsibilities:
* Planning and coordination of infrastructure upgrades for existing
systems including OS, middleware, and web server components.
* Analysis of current versions of components, the target version of
components, impacts and dependencies of components, and critical path
analysis of upgrades across all components
* Coordination with application development teams regarding impacts to
applications
* Coordinating and scheduling quality assurance and testing efforts
across infrastructure and application teams
* Coordination with corporate infrastructure teams on system builds
and execution of upgrades and deployments of components.
Skills:
* Demonstrated experience planning and coordinating work across
multiple groups and teams
* Demonstrated experience planning and managing the installation and
upgrade of infrastructure components including OS, middleware, and web
server components
* Demonstrated experience in environments with significant
installations of Red Hat Linux, Sun One, WebLogic, Apache
* Demonstrated experience in environments with client-facing 24x7
applications
Desired experience with other infrastructure technologies including
automated build and deployment processes and job schedulers
