Testing Objectives:
* Timely scheduling of various teams, so that testing may be
conducted, revisions (default resolution) made, and retesting occurs within
a given timeline.
* Affinity develops a formalized "user acceptance" process used to
determine/satisfy contractual obligations.
* Ensure effective workflow.
* Defects at go-live will be known so that work-arounds can be
identified.
* Verification that new functionality works as designed.
* Verify that all AMG specified EHR content in the 'templates/forms'
has been included in Centricity EMR.
Testing
In Scope:
* Pilot Implementation at initial Medical Home sites (Koeller Internal
Medicine, Oshkosh; Kaukauna Family Practice)
* Centricty EMR and Centricity EMR Test environment
* Potential of an evaluation of automated testing tools
* Development and implementation of a database (QMT) to trace
requirements, test cases, test results, and defect tracking.
* Development of test data repositories to be used by test teams for
the pilot project and in the future.
* Collection and refinement of requirements to be stored in QMT.
* Development and implementation of test cases for all phases of
testing and stored in QMT.
* Coordination and implementation of
* Module / Unit Testing
* 'Sub-system'/integration testing
* Patient simulation/system testing.
* User Acceptance Testing
Out of Scope:
. All sites beyond the pilot implementation.
. Implementation of automated testing tools.
. Release management testing of future Centricity EMR enhancements.
. Interface testing will be conducted by the Interface project and
is out of scope for this testing plan, with the exception of testing new
enhancements.
* Orion Rhapsody Interface engine testing will be conducted by the
Interface project and is out of scope for this testing plan.
. Infrastructure testing is out of scope.
. Clinical usability testing is out of scope.
. Data PreLoad testing will be conducted by the EHR Data PreLoad
project and is out of scope this testing plan.
. The creation of a training environment is out of scope.
