Milwaukee, WI PSFT QA Manager/Lead Start 7/12 till 11/30 Market rate Interview, phone screen first then in person is REQUIRED Client is not really looking for a tester only, but someone who has had lots of experience testing in the past and grew into a QA manager role and now has extensive experience in writing test plans, writing test scripts, managing the test execution and defects management. Experience with PeopleSoft HR and testing PeopleSoft transactions is required. Will be the Liason between Developers and BA's, someone with global experience is a plus, will work with Europe and Asia resources. Primary Responsibilities: The QA Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the all aspects of quality assurance for HR applications. The QA Manager will also guide the efforts of automation development to build automated test scripts for the HR applications when necessary. The successful candidate will have experience executing quality assurance tasks as well as managing quality assurance activities for PeopleSoft HR modules and other HR applications. Required Skills: . Minimum of 10 years experience in QA . Minimum of 3 years experience as a QA Manager . 5+ yeas experience with PeopleSoft HR 8.x or 9.x . Experience writing test charters and test plans/schedules . Strong Experience with writing test scripts for system testing . Experience with requirements/test script traceability . Experience with managing multiple phases of testing including unit testing, system testing and user acceptance testing . Experience with managing defects in a tool like Mercury Quality Center . Experience as liaison between testers and project team to manage defect resolution with developers or initial change control with project manager . Strict attention to detail . Ability to think strategically and act tactically . Excellent verbal and written communication skills . Excellent organizational, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills . Familiarity with multiple web browser and server implementations . Experience testing database intensive applications . SQL and Oracle Database knowledge . Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills . Ability to effectively multi-task different testing assignments DESIRED Skills: . BS in Computer Science or equivalent. MBA or equivalent preferred. . Experience with Mercury Tools such as Test Director (Quality Center) . 5-8 yrs of Automation Testing experience is preferred. .
