Primary skill: J2EE Platform Secondary: Oracle Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 3+ Mpnths • Develops using the J2EE platform; also required are OOP paradigm skills, as well as experience with J2EE APIs, protocols and development of multi tiered applications. • Examples of current J2EE application program interfaces (APIs) are EJB, JDBC, JMS, JNDI, JTA, etc. • Leads complex / major efforts regarding the requirements analysis, design, development, and testing of computer programs and / or application components. • Strong ability to analyze functional needs that drive the analysis and technical design of quality technical solutions; recommends solutions that are aligned with business / IT strategies and complies with corporate architectural standards. • Serves as subject matter expert (SME) in assigned area. • Resolves complex application and technical problems. • May serve as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project initiatives. • Analyzes complex performance and capacity issues with systems / applications software and/or application components. • Maintains knowledge of emerging technologies. • Provides mentoring and training to more junior staff. • Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes. • Leads evaluations of systems / applications software technologies. • May lead project teams. • Strong ability to work collaboratively with IT staff on development, troubleshooting, and other technical efforts. • Performs software architecture and systems design. • Strong knowledge of programming / systems analysis, as well as quality assurance, prototyping, construction, integration, and migration functions; possesses a strong understanding of programming languages, development tools, and the current environment. • Displays problem solving and analytical skills, using them to resolve technical problems; possesses a strong understanding of business requirements and IT strategies. • Draws on broad knowledge base (e.g., infrastructure, technology, and applications) to analyze complex problems and contribute to troubleshooting efforts. • Leverages strong design understanding and/or capabilities (e.g., database, application code, reusable objects, and interfaces) to optimize development efforts in a distributed environment. • Good understanding of development technology used to support one or more business operations areas. • May be required to coordinate small numbers of junior staff in the execution of projects.• Responds to direct questions from IT Management or the business on the effects of emerging technologies on product development and business directions; may provide buy vs. build recommendations or assist in platform determination. ______________ With Kind regards ABHI | Technical Recruiter | Cigniti Inc ® [email protected] 1304 W Walnut Hill Lane.
