Here are examples of what should the engineer should be able to do



-       *BEFORE hand-off to engineer*



-       Review files before loading for accuracy

-       Load files to validation server

-       Visually inspect the file for known errors not caught by the
validation server (formatting, duplicates, blanks)

-       Translate from error log to business English, desired not required

-       Prepare *one* assessment of file errors due to validation server



-       *AFTER load to pilot*



-       Validate the QA Checklist, cornerstone to provide the checklist

-       Use the application to check for issues on the UI, cornerstone to
provide steps to validate loaded records in the application

-       Prepare *one* assessment of errors for records not loaded

-       Recommend next steps to support the load of remaining records
(business side fix, developer post-processing support as a web service,
etc), if applicable

-       They should know xml, sql /access/excell.Basic sql Is fine.

-       QA engineer should be able to massage data in excell, access or sql
to produce good data if needed.

-       Also he/she should be able to run specific set of query to check if
data has been loaded or not.
