Location Pittsburgh PA Duration 6- 8 months -- Required: * Knowledge of database monitoring tools such as IBM*s UDB utilities and features, Quest Spotlight, and Quest Central. * Database performance tuning. * Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * 5 years experience supporting or administering *IBM DB2. Good experience in AIX, UNIX scripting* * A minimum of five years data systems administration, monitoring including: running queries, generating statistics, analyzing data, tuning and design. * Experience in standard administration activities, such as Backup and Recovery, Security and Authentication, Performance Monitoring, Tuning and Troubleshooting. * Knowledge of SQL Server Enterprise Manager, SQL Server Management Studio Education: * BA/BS or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
