Must be able to render good business and technical decisions, is well-organized, able to work with minimal supervision, detail oriented, able to address multiple assignments and meet deadlines. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is required. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of IT experience with the PeopleSoft HR application. Must have excellent writing, interpersonal and troubleshooting skills. Must adhere to all safety, health and environmental Company policies. The position entails the following specific job related responsibilities: - Analyze, design, configure, code and implement system changes to the PeopleSoft HR application. The work includes changes to either the online or batch processing of the PeopleSoft HR application. Experience either with one or both (online or batch processing) is acceptable. - Candidate should have more than just `Production Support`. We are looking for a hands-on` experienced developer who has coded interfaces (from scratch), online customizations, workflow, etc., within the PeopleSoft HR application. - Candidate will participate in the definition, design, test and implementation of the PeopleSoft HR application. Candidate will be required to analyze design issues, review system problems, formulate scope and objectives for system changes, perform systems testing and adhere to standard practices and procedures for implementing systems into production. - Experience with all or some of the PeopleSoft tools are required – items include but not limited to: PeopleTools, Application Engine, SQR, PeopleCode, PeopleSoft Workflow, Security and Query tools - Candidate must have excellent organization and communications skills (both oral and written) - Ability to develop well-written system documentation (both technical and functional specs) as well as interpret and begin design based on functional specs written by others - Experience with the set-up, configuration and development of customized screens and/or online processing, and/or custom batch programs - Complete challenging assignments with changing priorities while still meeting deadlines. - Ability to work independently as well as with a large team - Strong inter-personnel skills that requires significant interaction with peers and customers (internal users) - Troubleshoot and resolve problems - Insure system operability; perform testing and debugging as per standard practices, including unit, system and user acceptance testing. Additional Skills (Skills that are a plus, but not required) Must have worked with PeopleSoft Benefits Open Enrollment project to help configuring the system for open enrollment and make necessary changes to online application and batch programs. Must have experience of working with interfaces to Finance to integrate PeopleSoft Payroll and TimeLabor to Oracle Financials. Assignment This is a developer assisgnment - no infastructure, DBA, networking required. Candidate will be part of a team that will implement the PeopleSoft HCM product at the client.
