Job Description: Strong C# ASP.NET Mid Level Developer (3.5 Framework) with
SQL (2005 and soon 2008). eCommerce experience nice but not required.
Responsible for setting-up websites (multi-tenant platform)
Expanding existing website by adding new features, etc.
Web Services, WCF. Visual Studio 2008 - 2010. Strong emphasis on unit
testing. MVP today and headed to MVC (model view control).
Silver light a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Participates in the requirement gathering phase of projects.
Understands and translates business requirements into detailed technical
requirements.
Validates high level system expectations based on the process design and
business objectives.
Provides coding and unit testing of new applications or enhancements to
ensure requirements have been met.
Responsible for application support.
Assists in the creation of system test plans that will ensure the business
needs are met by the new or enhanced system.
Assists in system integration efforts.
Partners with appropriate team members and corporate groups throughout the
development process.
Responsible for ensuring development assignments are completed in line with
Hallmark Insights application standards.
Conduct peer code reviews.
Ensures thorough unit testing for all development assignments.
Working knowledge of source control systems. SVN a plus.
Collaborates with other developers to ensure seamless flow between various
applications within the system.
Acts as primary support contact during application certification.
Participates in project planning by providing detailed task lists and
estimates to Technical Lead or Project Manager.

Qualifications
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge of software process and common practices
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6+ years of information systems
experience web based environment
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
6+ years experience with web applications development
Expert Knowledge with web applications development using .NET framework 2.0
or higher( C#, .NET, VB .NET) and XML technologies
Knowledge of WPF and WCF desired.
Working Knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle.
