*Could be done remotely too.* Location: Charlotte, NC Duration: 3+ months Primary Skills: SunGard # of Years Required: 2-4 Secondary Skills: Mainframe/RACF # of Years Required: 0-2 Job Purpose/ Description: An OmniScript Technical Analyst performs full life-cycle problem resolution and development and is also able to take technical OmniScript requirements and deliver technical solutions utilizing OmniScripts. An OmniScript Technical Analyst may also be called upon to assist in development projects or production issues where OmniScript expertise is required. Tasks and Responsibilities: • Performs technical analysis of production issues, then codes, tests and implements resolutions in the OmniPlus environment. • Interprets business requirements as they relate to code supported by TOPS production support. • Identifies system errors within the SunGard platform and identifies alternatives or core codes recommendations. • Serves as departmental liaison to interdepartmental or interdivisional project, development and operation initiatives. • Acts as an internal SME to the organization on complex system support issues. • Recognizes strategic implications of problems and issues. Generates alternative ideas and solutions. • Looks beyond symptoms to identify causes of problems and potential trends. • Quickly and accurately performs root cause analysis of production issues within the OmniPlus system environment. • Documents, recommends, and implements short and long term plans of action to resolve production issues. • Follows appropriate processes and procedures. • Designs, codes, tests and implements small enhancements to existing code. Required education/experience: • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within TIAA-CREF's OmniPlus environment. • Strong proficiency in OmniScript. • Working knowledge of OmniVBA. • Strong proficiency in the SunGard OmniPlus package. • Testing experience within OmniPlus software. • OmniScript development experience a plus. • Demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills. • Handles complex operational tasks and recommends processing and technology changes. • Ability to work with the business community in high stress situations. • Analytical ability in determining technical system issues. • Detailed oriented. • Analytical ability to provide optimum solution. • Knowledge of 401(k) and 403(b) retirement plans. -- ______________ With Kind regards ABHI | Technical Recruiter | Cigniti Inc ® [email protected] 1304 W Walnut Hill Lane.
