ETL DEV. w/ Property Causality Data Acquisition Developer Location: NYC Duration: 6 Months
Job Definition: Responsible for the scripts required to extract, transform, clean and move data and metadata so they can load into the enterprise data warehouse, data marts or operational data stores. Authority: Execute the responsibilities of the Data Acquisition Developer according to policies, procedures and standards, as established in Published Policies and Procedures and Employee Handbook. Duties and Responsibilities: ● Work with the business analysts to identify and understand source data systems. ● Map source system data to the data warehouse, data marts or operational data store models. ● Develop and test extraction, transformation and load (ETL) processes. ● Define and capture metadata and rules associated with the ETL processes. ● Adapt ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business requirements. Skills and Experience Desired: ● College degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering. ● Certification in Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist and Microsoft Certified IT ● Professional: Business Intelligence Developer. ● Minimum of 4 years direct work experience. ● Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience, with knowledge of data warehouse methodologies and data modeling. ● Demonstrated ability with SSIS ETL tools. ● Strong ability to analyze user requirements into technical solutions according to specifications. ● Strong understanding of relational database structures, theories, principles, and practices. ● Experience with database design applications, including Visio and Erwin. ● Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques. ● Strong understanding of the organizations goals and objectives. ● Good knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. ● Strong written and oral communication skills. ● Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. ● Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. ● Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. ● Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. ● Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional ● publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations Key Deliverables: ● Complete mapping and transformation documentation ● Schedule of extraction and load processes ● ETL metadata documented and maintained in a metadata repository ● Logical and physical data models ● Meta model for metadata repository please send your updated resume to [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
