Position: Sr. Business Analyst Duration: 6 Months Location: Baltimore, MD RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS - The PL/SQL Database Developer is responsible for establishing SDLC best practices for detail design,development, documentation and unit testing for special projects on an oracle 10g platform for a Healthcare Client. - Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs - Participate in design/code reviews; establish standards for db objects, document and work within the development team. - Developing database objects including tables, indexes, procedures, functions, packages and views . - Work with architects to improve existing data models, ensure high levels of data integrity, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. Qualifications: * Strong understanding of RDBMS, design principles and procedures * Experience in successful trouble shooting, problem solving and performance tuning * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Working experience with Oracle [9, 10, 11] PL/SQL and development tools * Experience with .net, Facets is a plus. SOFT SKILLS * Deadline-Oriented; * Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams; * Strong organizational and analytical skills.
