Hyperion Knowledge Subject Matter Expert Minimum 5+ years of solid Hyperion Planning development experience in the business or IT field a must Minimum 3+ years of development experience with Hyperion EPM products Minimum 3+ years of hands on development experience using Oracle/ Hyperion Essbase Strong working knowledge in Hyperion System 11 products (HFM, Planning, OBIEE, etc.)Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle database strongly preferredMinimum 2 years on version 11.1.1.3 preferred Strong Systems Analysis Experience and ability to perform configuration of tool Strong competency of Hyperion reporting Strong understanding of the Tool Administration Capability Understanding of how to develop calculations scripts and business rules Understanding of how to develop data input formsCube build and calc script development Financial Knowledge Solid understanding of the financial function Ability to develop Financial Statements and internal reportsThe primary responsibility of the Hyperion Developer will be to work closely with and act as a liaison between Corporate Finance and IT to enhance and implement the Hyperion Planning environment and to ensure the business needs are communicated and addressed throughout the development phases. The Hyperion Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance tasks associated with the existing Essbase and Hyperion Cubes ensuring that the development aligns with appropriate architectural guidelines. They will be expected to maintain a strong working knowledge of the IT project lifecycle and understand and participate in proper version control and change management processes. The developer should be able to add value to the Hyperion Planning environment by creating code methodologies that are flexible and efficient.
