Following up with Vendors hardware & software whenever required & resolve issues by minimizing downtimes. · Responsible for Root cause analysis · Responsible for Resolving Escalated issue. · Will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports. · Will make sure that the Tickets raised per shift are closed in the required time limits and escalated as per the escalation Matrix. · Define the reasons for unsolved / unattended issues will have to report the daily issues handled / escalated in the form of Daily reports. · Should be taking conference calls with the customers. * * *Required Skill* Should have more than 6+ years of Windows server Administration experience preferably with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining a medium/large environment (at least 100-150 Servers) ü Proficient in Microsoft OS ü In-Depth knowledge of Active Directory and DNS structure ü Strong Knowledge of Windows 2000 and 2003 Server and trouble shooting skills; ü Strong in File and Print Server Management; Knowledge in Windows Security; experienced in Antivirus products ü Ability to implement AD infrastructure ü Proficient in doing Recovery of AD Domain Controllers, DNS, WINS, DHCP servers ü In-Depth knowledge of Domain Controllers replication configurations ü Good Exposure to Group Policies creation, their testing and implementation ü In-Depth knowledge of DHCP servers designing and planning ü Should have good working experience on RAID management and Array controller. ü Should have good knowledge & troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing ü Should have expertise in backup products ü Should have worked with OEM hardware (DELL/HP/IBM), & remote connectivity tools ü Should have worked with more than one patching (WSUS & Shavlik) & antivirus tools ü Knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system ü Registry to support installed applications and document configuration ü Ability to build and remove domains in existing AD environment ü Good Knowledge on FSMO Roles assignment in AD environment ü Good Proficiency in System Fault Tolerance Design, Business continuity and Disaster recovery planning ü Capacity planning and Fine tune system for optimal performance ü Excellent Knowledge on managing Large* *Citrix farm Environment ü In-Depth knowledge of Citrix Load balancing ü Knowledge of Citrix secure gateway Configuration ü Good experience on installation, configuration and managing VM Ware environment. ü In-Depth knowledge of VMware technology ü Experience on managing large VMware environment ü In depth Knowledge of implementing VMware HA, DRS. ü Knowledge of VERITAS Cluster Service.
