SAN engineer Location: Brisbane,CA rate: Competitive Duration: 6 months+ *NEED LOCALS ONLY AS Onsite interview required* *Candidate must have* - 1) Experience w/ Hitachi storage and Netapps - 2) Veritas – (including VERITAS volume manager) - 3) Solaris - 4) Shell scripting (any flavor) - 5) Worked with terabytes of storage) 6+ years of SAN and Storage Administration experience. 6+ years of storage administration experience with HDS:3 Yrs/EMC:6 Yrs.(Prefer HDS) 3+ year of SAN &Storage design/architecture experience 3+ years of NetBackup design/architecture and administration experience Possesses working knowledge of database management systems, with emphasis on Oracle, Veritas, Cisco and Hitachi Advanced Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) experience required; and VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS) or other High-availability service. SAN experience on 50+ TB of storage across multiple subsystems. Create complex scripts for process automation and monitoring (using shell, perl, C or Windows Script language).
