Please see the job details below and submit qualified resumes with rate and contact informatiom to [email protected] Thanks Position: DB2 DBA Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: Long Term Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required: 1) Ability to address specific system technological and operational problems and recommend effective solutions. 2) Ability to provide business process analysis, planning and be a development and maintenance resource for other team members. 3) Possess considerable familiarity with structured systems development and programming languages. 4) Minimum of six (6) years of current or recent programming experience and design of large scale IBM mainframe based systems using DB2, Telon, Cobol, and CICS. 5) Experience in data extraction and data transformation to support a data warehouse application. 6) Minimum of (6) Six or more years of current or recent experience in the design, programming and maintenance of large DB2 mainframe databases in a high transaction (on-line and batch) environment. 7) Experience planning, defining, organizing, recommending and documenting database modifications in multiple Version 7.0 DB2 subsystems. 8) Proficient in the use of DB2 utilities for backup, restore and maintenance of large Version 7.0 DB2 databases 9) Proficient in performance monitoring and tuning of large DB2 mainframe databases.
