*REQUIREMENT:*
Need 3 Sr. Java/J2EE Developers for 2-3 yr project in Atlanta for my direct
client.
Must have 8+ years of solid Java coding experience.
Experience working on high volume, high transaction systems with Terracotta
experience preferred.
*Local candidates preferred but must be able to interview F2F*.
Sr. Java/SOA Developers for a 2 yr contract in Atlanta, GA. (Note: this is a
very hands on and senior position. The individuals must be very assertive
and work well in a very rapid paced environment delivering vs. challenging
deadlines on very large complex SOA Solutions. Also must have experience
working in a cloud computing environment.
Duties will include serving in a technical lead role on projects for design
and development of Java-based SOA initiatives for client, and making sure
all components deployed conform to client SOA architectural standards. This
position requires the ability to create components of a Service Oriented
Architecture and creating Java-based SOA design and development SDLC
artifacts such as high level designs, detail designs, data maps, Java
components and web services. Candidate will lead and participate in code
reviews and provide technical leadership. Will be responsible for working
with other development team members to provide integration between cloud
based services and internal systems. The candidate will provide mentoring to
less experienced members of the team.
Required Skills:
8+ years experience working with Java/J2EE development technologies.
Experience working with an Enterprise Service Bus.
Knowledge and experience implementing SOA initiatives.
Strong working knowledge of WSDL and XSD.
Experience building and using web services frameworks with technologies such
as Apache CXF
Experience with Java/J2EE development technologies such as Eclipse, Spring,
Hibernate, JMS.
Experience in technical lead role working with matrixed teams of a large
corporate enterprise.
Knowledge and understanding of SaaS and IaaS architecture and integration
strategies.
Firm understanding of Master Data Management concepts and strategies.
Proficiency in enterprise-scale database technologies such as Oracle.
Other Requirements:
Experience developing large, complex OLTP applications and services.
Experience working with structured non-relational horizontal scalable data
stores ("NoSQL").
Experience developing applications and services for deployment in a cloud
computing environment.
Experience working with off-shore development teams.
Strong communication skills.
Significant experience serving in a senior technical role.
Must be able to work in a matrix organization and team environments.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to resolve complex issues related to project interdependencies.
Self-motivated individual with ability to rapidly adapt to new environments
and changing requirements.
Ability to deliver given challenging deadlines.
Service-oriented: strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering
service to clients on other teams.
Desired Skills:
Experience with applications migration from mainframe to Services Oriented
environments.
Experience with ESB Fuse ServiceMix, Drools, Hudson/Sonar, GIT, Maven,
JUnit. Active MQ.
