Roles & Responsibilities

Infrastructure Architect
·       Review and approve Project Charters and High Level Designs for
technology infrastructure requirements.

·       Develop and maintain business relationships with systems and
technology vendors and trade groups.

·       Develop and maintain standards for the technology platforms to
support Company business systems.

·       Participate in the Enterprise Architecture Board for Company and
lead the CCG Technical Review Board.

·       Assist with operational performance and general architecture issues
on CCG projects as needed.



Liaison to GIS
Interface with GIS on all projects that affect CCG.  This includes
communications with users and IT, arranging testers, and managing weekend
testing efforts.
Participate in daily call with GIS to assess outages and understand upcoming
activities.
Attend weekly GIS meetings for Project Review and Change Management.  Member
of the GIS Change Activity Board.
Lead Disaster Recovery testing efforts for CCG business systems.
Research issues between GIS and CCG in the areas of system performance,
system monitoring and general troubleshooting.


Systems DBA for IDMS & DB2 UDB on mainframe
Apply fixes (PTFs) as needed to address system problems current or future.
Research system abends and performance issues with vendor to identify fixes.
Install new releases and major maintenance levels.
Perform all SMP/E activities for the DBA group.
