Position: EDI/Java/ PL/SQL Developer Duration: 13 Week contract Location: Tampa Bay area Experience dealing with Oracle DBMS 3-5 years Java Must have Web services 3-5 years experience with PL/SQL Must have exposure to EDI Strong preference for candidates that have experience with Edifecs’ software (XEngine, Transaction Manager, SpecBuilder) XML extract experience Ideal candidates have worked on EDI-related projects at a large organization, like a hospital, payer, or clearinghouse. Experience in loading and extracting data desired. Experience: 3-5 years experience in the development, implementation, and maintenance of code. Technical Skills/Requirements: Good understanding of PL/ SQL, relational database concepts. The Senior Software Engineer works with a team of developers to provide business and technical expertise in requirements solicitation, system analysis, technical design, programming and documentation of information systems. Essential Functions: • Prepares detailed functional specifications, design models, and system workflows from which software applications will be developed and implemented • Supports, troubleshoots, and maintains production systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing timely follow-up on identified issues • Follows IT development standards and best practices, including SDLC, sox requirements etc. • Acts as principle contributor to technical feasibility studies, business cases, proposals, and 3rd party assessment if needed. • Works independently and mentors others as needed. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
