This includes a complete understanding of these requirements and the ability to architect a solution to meet these requirements. This position will work closely with the product development groups to ensure the needs of the automation project are incorporated into the software development activities. This includes both development of new features and creating and maintaing automated tests for existing features. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Functional Architects and develops GUI software solutions using C#/.NET, Java Architects and develops software solutions of both Windows and Linux operating systems. Architects and develops GUI software solutions using Object Oriented methodologies Experienced with communications protocols between MS and Linux. Develops and maintains the Test Automation requirements, including input from all stakeholders. Experience using reflection Experience with ClearCase Develops solutions utilizing XML, web services in both distributed and embedded architectures. Works with development community to ensure software products have the interfaces needed to automate the testing of the products. Develops and maintains project schedule, including clearly defined milestones and progress. Develops and maintains work estimates. ** *EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Prior experience in the architecture and development of large complex Windows, GUI based, software products/solutions. Prior software development experience with C#/.NET and Java Prior experience in all aspects of software testing is highly desirable. Prior experience in test automation is highly desirable.
