Duration: 6 months - The candidate will be investigating application issues, determining technical solutions, and will be making enhancements to existing applications. - Troubleshoot, debug and solve technology integration and performance problems. - The candidate shall be strong in the area of J2EE technologies. - Candidate shall be a good team player, be able to communicate with customers to work on functional and technical requirements. Should have application development experience in the following areas a) Manufacturing functional domain, b) Application Integration, c) Web and Application Security, d) Performance, e) Quality, f) and Operational aspects. - Collaborate with architects to ensure that the products and components work together, meet defined standards, and meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements. The following Technical Skills are required: 1. Have sound knowledge in J2EE 2. Good understanding of the J2EE design patterns. 3. Have sound experience with most of: JSP, JSF, Spring, Hibernate, Servlets, JDBC, JMS, JAXB, JDOM, AJAX, XML and Web Services technology. 4. Be self starter in developing new technical skills. Be able to demonstrate strong technical growth. 5. Be proficient in the use of software development tools (IBM Rational Application Developer, Clear Case, Clear Quest) and techniques in software projects. 6. Communicate effectively with clients, with team members and with management as needed. The following skills would be very nice to have: 1. Exposure to the SOA Methodologies. 2. Exposure to web security features. 3.
