*DW Data Architect/Analyst *

*Duration: 3+ months*
*Description:*
- Involved in Consumer Identity Management DWH projects
- Reports to CIMS application manager.
- Responsible for working with business and technical teams to provide
design and approach to implementing and incorporate data into data
warehouse.
- Must be available onsite beginning Feb 1, 2011 (based in San Diego).
- Starting 3 month contract (may be extended depending on
performance/budget)
*Qualifications:*
- 5-7 years of experience as a DW data architect/analyst with at least 3
years of architect and modeling (in data warehouse environment)
- Must demonstrate understanding of DW best practices, architecture, and
design
- Must be able to produce functional and technical designs (please
provide samples)
- Must demonstrate ability to translate business requirements into data
models
- Informatica, Customer data and real-time experience/understanding
strongly preferred
- Strong demonstrated SQL skills
- Experience with Oracle, Toad, SQL+, Erwin
- Self starter; must be self-directed and able to manage
time/deliverables
- Good communication skills including ability to present to all levels of
management
- Must have experience with coordinating with offshore development
- Must be willing to work split shift to support offshore development
- Must have 4+ years of experience with performing quality assurance on
data warehouse projects.
- Proven experience developing and executing test cases and scripts on
complex data warehouse projects that involve multiple flat file and database
sources.
- Past experience performing quality assurance activities with
Informatica is required.
*Information Analyzer Analyst*
*San Diego**, CA***
*Duration: 3+ months*
*Description*
- Must be available onsite beginning Feb 1, 2011 (based in San Diego).
- Lead installation of Information Analyzer client and application of
patches on server.
- All administrative set up work and liaising with SEL support staff
for necessary operating system and database permissions and grants.
- Calculation of needed space for the results of Information Analyzer
jobs.
- Execution of the Information Analyzer analysis functions.
- Preparation of executive overview, opportunities, and next steps
based on the results of the analysis and upgrade of DataStage and
QualityStage to version 8.1 and test connectivity on Development.
- Assistance and mentoring on activities and tasks related to the use
of Information Analyzer for the purposes of profiling data.
*Qualifications:*
- 5-7 years of experience as a IA Analyst with at least 3 years of
Customer and Product experience.
*IBM Information Server (formerly Ascential) Developer*
*San Diego**, CA***
*Duration: 3+ months*
*Description*
- Must be available onsite beginning Feb 1, 2011 (based in San Diego).
*Qualifications:*
· Onshore lead 5 – 7 years experience with IBM DataStage (previously
Ascential) with at least 1 Year in Version 8.1.
· Datastage and Information Director; Candidate must have experience
with developing batch jobs using DataStage and experience developing real
time web services (WSDI) using the Web Sphere Information Server Director.
WSDI is a component in IBM information service that turns a batch orientated
DataStage job into web service.
· Proven experiencing with DataStage jobs as web services is a
critical skill.
· Information Analyzer experience is a plus.
