Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Duration : 4 Months Contract Location : Boston, MA and Raleigh, NC. *Job Description:* - Develop and/or maintain embedded software applications on Linux - Debug and enhance complex systems with data communications, real-time data acquisition, and hardware interface modules - understand and root-cause customer-reported firmware issues, and provide necessary fixes - Perform other duties as assigned. *Skills and Experience:* - Bachelor degree with 3+ years of applicable work experience - Embedded Linux experience, Linux application code development - High proficiency in C and C++ programming languages - Understanding of mass storage devices and KVM technology or graphics compressions is a plus - Knowledge of microprocessor and microcontroller programming and architecture - Proficiency with the Open Source package net-snmp, including the ability to implement MIB agents using the net-snmp AgentX architecture. - Knowledge of BMC and IPMI, sensors - Knowledge of hardware interfaces such as serial, USB and network interfaces, I2C, TCP/IP related protocols. - Knowledge of Linux build and release technology a plus - Some experience with the Open Source package net-snmp mib2c compiler, including the ability to Perform customized code generation using mib2c “conf” files is a plus. - Strong debugging and problem solving skills - Good verbal and written communication skills - Strong interpersonal Skills, to work closely within a team and collaborate with other teams or the customer - Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time, switch between tasks, and multiplex effectively - Ability to work with limited supervision *If you are comfortable with the description, please send me your UPDATED WORD FORMAT RESUME with the below template filled in the same.
