Job Description: Technical Business Analyst

Location: St Pete FL

Duration: 6months +

Description: Transforms functional requirements into system specifications
by writing clear and concise business requirements documents. Serves as
primary requirements development liaison and facilitator of communications
between IT and other organizational and technical groups.



Responsibilities:

. Design and develop functional and technical requirements for IT
infrastructure projects.

. Assist Quality Control team in defining test plan and acceptance criteria.

. Act as the team subject matter expert and coordinate with IT leaders when
more outside information is needed.

. Serve as a partner to the corporate IT community.

. Facilitate the definition and agreement with multiple groups on
requirements of scope and business objectives.

. Ensure the nature and extent of the business needs and project
requirements, are understood by project participants.

. Perform as the lead on the initial portion of a project (from approval of
work request through the approval to move to the Planning Stage).

. May serve as a consultant to customers, providing insight on product
features and benefits.

. May represent the organization as required at external professional
associations or other relevant workshops and seminars.

. Design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that
will positively impact operational effectiveness . Track and analyze
business and technical trends and make recommendations where appropriate .
Coordinate the development of all approved versions of functional and
technical specifications for specified applications. Reviews use cases and
other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure requirements are
adequately reflected.

. Aid in defining User Acceptance Test conditions . Identifies and documents
system deficiencies and recommends solutions . Assists in enforcement of
project deadlines and schedules . Prioritizes multiple tasks effectively .
Develops internal and external meeting objectives and agendas





Qualifications:

. Requires knowledge of the financial services industry.

. Requires in depth knowledge of *Mainframe* and Open Systems operations.

. Experience with systems application development lifecycle and
methodologies required.

. Must have experience with Database and IT architecture principles.

. Strong analysis, research, and presentation skills are needed.

. Listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills are
essential.

. Strong organizational, leadership, decision-making and problem solving
skills required.

. Excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills are
necessary.

. Experience with *PC/LAN* user programs such as *MS Word, Excel, and
Outlook*.

. 5+ years’ experience creating business/functional requirements in an IT
environment.



Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
