Essential Job Functions Essential Function - Applications Programming – designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains and documents programs from detailed specifications. Determines standards for programming procedures and ensures adherence to technical standards and requirements. Analyzes systems specifications and develops diagrams and flowcharts. Revises and updates programs as needed. - Performs analysis of system capabilities to resolve questions involving program specifications, intended use and system accessibility to database and system management. Interfaces with users to determine system software problems and provide technical advice for future planning. Develops and maintains release management controls. • A business working knowledge of manufacturing would be a plus but is not required • A working knowledge of the IBM iSeries (AS/400) would be a plus but is not required • Provide analytical and programming skills to solve challenges. • Provide support for other programmers.
