Must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in diversified areas specified below.** * § Must have at least 5+ years of hands-on Experience working with .NET ( VB.NET, ASP.NET , C#.NET), ActiveX in developing custom applications and modifying/enhancing third party products is a must. § Be able to perform required enhancements to design, develop, test and integrate a set of custom applications and development of new applications in the production framework of the existing custom built and Telvent System. § Must have hands-on DBA and Developer experience in MS SQL Server and/or Oracle is a MUST. Must be able to understand DB models/Schemas, solid experience in DB Design, Development is required. § Must have hands-on DBA experience with general Administration Tasks - Coordinating with Project Managers for Project Planning, Project Initiation and corresponding technical studies. - Preparing reports as required for project management purposes. § Excellent written and verbal communication skills. § Ability to work both independently, and in a team, to achieve design and delivery goals is a must. § BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience required. *Desired Skills: * § Experience in tasks related to Project Managing or Project Lead will be a huge plus. § Telvent Systems experience (especially Telvent OASyS DNA system) is a huge plus. § Experience in supervisory control and data acquisition *(SCADA)* is desirable. § Knowledge/Experience in Control Systems, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, electro-mechanical devices/equipment are huge plus. § Experience/Knowledge in C/C++ especially working in multi-threaded development. § Experience with TCP/IP client/server development desired. § In-depth Knowledge/Experience in Communication Protocols, Communication Standards, overall Networking is desirable. § Knowledge/Experience in Telecom devices § Knowledge/Experience in dynamic network of applications § Experience with real-time automation systems desired.
