Please do reply to *[email protected]* Title: LEAD SAS Programmer Duration: 6 mos Location: Boston MA –[Needs In-Person Interview] Must have Pharma Experience This role is a real need however they rushed to hire somebody last time and the person was not the right fit so while they NEED somebody they will not rush this time. This is a replacement role to replace a consultant who’s work is decent enough but needs way too much guidance. The ideal candidate is somebody who has been a lead or senior programmer before and can function as such for this team. Most important skill sets: SAS Macro languages and CDISC (not in description) Soft skills: personality is huge here. This person must be a self starter who is able to take a project and run with it. Must work with little to no supervision. Must be a team player with good communication skills. Candidates in process: NONE AT THE MOMENT Important notes/challenges: 1. Communication skills – this candidate needs to have the communication skills to function as a lead; do some client facing and work on cross functional teams. We ran into some issues last week where the candidate and I were having two separate conversations because they had no clue what I was saying. As a result I am phone screening every candidate before the hiring manager meets them and *I will be asking them behavioral interviewing questions*. 2. This person MUST be able to work independently, MUST be comfortable leading 3.
