Consults with and advises senior management and multiple clients on high impact data or database management issues, influencing strategic direction. Handles and leads various large-scale or highly complex data/database management activities including one or more of the following: designing highly complex logical and/or physical databases; leading highly complex data modeling, mapping, integration, and capacity planning efforts; developing management policies, procedures and standards; and business requirements identification, analysis and development. Provides mentoring, guidance and general oversight to less experienced staff in a variety of database design, administration and! /or modeling activities. Leads complex projects. This position will be supporting International systems and funded through business projects: Required skills/services will include: SqlServer 2005, SqlServer 2008, Replication (mirroring log-shipping), System migrations, performance analysis and tuning, familiarity with Quest Foglight/Spotlight/PA/Capacity manager suite. *1. * 2. Experience with SQLServer 2008 and 2010 3. Experience setting up Transactional Replication of SQLServer instances for Reporting/Data Warehousing 4. Experience with SQLServer tuning and using profiling tools 5. Analyzing data access patterns and suggesting solutions (partitioning, indexes, query optimization etc.) 6. Effective Database change management 7. Experience with high throughput, low latency database systems. Preferred skills: Microsoft Certified SQLServer DBA desired. Excellent Communications, Leadership, Self-motivated/pro-active, experienced in Wells Fargo SqlServer database Enterprise level support model.
