Candidates must be able to work independently, be proactive and take responsibility for their deliverables. Development projects predominantly use Microsoft technologies, notably: VB.NET, ASP.NET, C#, Oracle, SQL Server. *Required Skills and Experience:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent 3+ years related experience Strong .NET Development/consulting experience Strong Oracle backend experience Extremely large data base experience Strong Object-oriented programming Significant API Experience Experience with source code version control, preferably Subversion Position requires a forward thinking technologist Strong communication skills Strong questioning/inquiring skills Project Management ability Excellent problem solving skills to understand ramifications of code development throughout entire systems Understanding of functional requirements and ability to expand on requirements with clients Ability to work with ambiguous requirements Modular programming with user controls experience Ability to work effectively in a team environment *2) **Oracle Report Developer – Job Description* Candidates will develop new reports or modify existing reports using Oracle Reports and PL/SQL reporting tools. Candidates will work with users to complete gather requirements, get requirement approvals and testing. Candidates will also work with other application developers to understand and develop new application structures and databases. Candidates must be able to work independently, have good communication skills, be proactive and take responsibility for their deliverables.
