The environment will be AIX 6.1 running on an AS/400 platform. Candidate will be working in both a production and support role with regular interaction with the development and support teams to understand database requirements and support needs. This would necessitate the need for strong communication skills, written and spoken, while paying close attention to detail. Job position will require the candidate to work with the groups you will be supporting to determine how system changes and upgrades will impact existing and new systems.
