*PeopleSoft FINANCIALS Functional Consultant*
*Location: Columbus, OH*
*Duration: 6 months*



Urgent need for one PeopleSoft FINANCIALS Functional resource to work on a
PS Financials implementation . The successful candidate will be the lead
onsite functional resource for the following modules; GL, AP, AR, Billing,
Expenses, Contracts and Project Costing.



As a PeopleSoft Functional resource you will be called upon to provide
expertise in the functional areas of PeopleSoft applications in various
industries.  You will educate and provide PeopleSoft expertise support to
business development teams at all levels within the Business Solutions
group.



Experience with functional workshops, fitgaps, Functional impact analysis,
creating test scripts, and assisting with training documentation is
required.



Essential Functions:



Qualified candidates must have experience with at least 5 of the  PeopleSoft
FINANCIALS modules ( PC is mandatory) and working with functional teams
during at least 3-5 PS projects.



1. Must have experience with at least 5 PeopleSoft FINANCIALS modules and
working with functional teams during at least 3-5 PS projects.
2. Responsible to design, analyze and execute business functional processes
according to requirements and within project scope.
3. Responsible to work with client to conduct requirements gathering,
functional workshops and fitgap sessions.
4. Basic understanding PeopleSoft objects including People Code, Application
Engine Programs, Pages and components. Tables set-up, configuration and
layout as required;
5. Identify gaps between business requirements and the delivered Peoplesoft
Application. Propose solutions and approach to closing gaps via process
re-design or system functionality
6. Develop detailed business process design, incorporating best practices.
7. Ensure project integration by communicating findings and activities to
Project Manager and with other teams.
8. Identify problems and/or potential issues and formulate systemic
solutions of propose business process alternatives to meet business
requirements
9. Seek input and feedback from other business owners/stakeholders
10. Develop and execute test plans. Develop Workflow Specifications.
Facilitate resolution of open issues;
11. Support and/or perform package installation and configuration activities
12. Manage and perform a wide variety of non-routine and diverse
workflow/system analyses requiring the use of financial and problem solving
skills
13. Other Responsibilities- Helpdesk Support, End-User Training, Document
Technical Specs, Change Control Standardization and Implementation.



Essential Knowledge:



Qualified candidates will have the leadership experience and ability to
provide functional direction during upgrades and implementations. Work
involves gathering and analyzing requirements, integrations and end-to-end
business processes. Candidates should have experience as a functional lead
and mentor, and be able to provide leadership, direction and issue
resolution skillsets. Requires hands on experience with at least 3 modules
of PeopleSoft FINANCIALS Applications and an understanding of the latest
technology tools.



1. At least 5-7 yrs functional experience with PeopleSoft FINANCIALS Modules
2. In-depth knowledge PeopleSoft FINANCIALS processes with *versions 9.0 &
9.1*
3. Minimum 3-5 years of PeopleSoft FINANCIALS Upgrade or Implementation
experience. Thorough understanding of Excel, Query, Crystal, SQL and other
business tools is a must. PeopleSoft 9.1 experience is required. Individual
must provide examples of imlementation work they have done, as well as a
sample functional specification they have written.
4. Experience in PeopleSoft module implementation or business process
redesign in multiple modules; PC proficiency should include spreadsheets,
databases, word processing, workflow, and project management software,
superior analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential
5. Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
6. B.A. / B.S. in a business and/or technical field or equivalent work
experience, degree in Computer Science are a plus.

7. Functional Analyst with PeopleSoft Application experience, version 9.1.
Duties include meeting with end user, developing requirements, conducting
functional workshops, fitgap sessions and working with technical resources.

8. Team Player, Flexibility, Multi-Tasking, Career-Oriented, Collaborative
Nature, ability to travel up to 100%
