Please reply back to [email protected] along with the resume, contact details and rate expecting. *NEED 2 PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES FROM THEIR PROJECTS* Boston, MA. 6+ months *Face to face is required after a phone interview* Position Description: Experienced Release Engineer to maintain and improve existing SCM, build, continuous integration, and test integration environment. This environment is used to generate production builds of a complex J2EE web platform. This role will report into a team responsible for the end to end infrastructure and services which support Development, QA, and Production. *Technologies Involved:* • Git for SCM • Maven for build execution and publication • Hudson/Jenkins for Continuous Integration • FishEye and Sonar for code change reporting and test coverage measurement Responsibilities: • Maintain existing Release Engineer Infrastructure • Work with development and QA to support and enhance the existing SCM processes and toolsets • Ensure code management and builds follow existing guidelines required to support production quality build process • Scale up and improve reliability of existing Continuous Integration Environment. This would include build-out of larger set of slaves, integration with Automated Testing tools, and creating chained builds to ensure proper build order • Improve existing Maven builds (refactor to bring up to date, centralize common build elements and artifacts, and improve integration with testing tools) • Upgrade and Improve existing Maven Repository • Where possible automate repetitive tasks that are required for general support of project as well as to support Requirements: • Previous experience and knowledge of Git general usage, branch management and integration, as well as advanced techniques such as sub-modules • Experience with medium to large scale Java/Web Release Engineering projects (Multiple projects with 100K plus lines of code, management of multiple in progress releases) • Experience and ability to work well with Development Teams while ensuring and enforcing standards required to produce production grade product • Previous Setup and management of Continuous Integration environment and services (Hudson) • Previous experience setting up a and integrating code coverage, and automated testing tools into existing build environments • Working overview knowledge of Java: ability to read code, understand packages, class relationships and management of external dependencies *Preferred:* • Knowledge of Perforce and Subversion • Ability to automate tasks in an OO based high level scripting language (python or ruby) • Experience in general Systems Engineering, build out and management of production environments ______________ Best Regards *Abhi *| Sr. Recruiter Xenosoft Technologies Inc, 18170 Dallas Parkway | Ste 201 | Dallas, TX 75287 [email protected] | | www.xtglobal.com, Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Oracle Users" group.
