Investigate the latest technology developments and analyze impact of current and future system requirements. Responsible for defining and maintaining standards and implementing best practices to ensure new initiatives conform to the companies long term strategic goals. Job Functions Define data integration/ETL strategy for Operational Data Store and large enterprise data warehouse including all change data capture methodologies and robust error/exception data handling. Design, develop and deliver short term tactical solutions to achieve long term strategic objectives for overall ETL roadmap and vision Design, develop and implement policies, standards and procedures in the ETL environment while ensuring industry best practices are followed. Design and Developing ETL workflows to populate Oracle Database and other data stores. Performs change impact analysis and work with other project teams to create optimal architected solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.. Fosters strong relationships with data architecture, database administration and data consumers including designs for both OLTP and Data Warehouse/BI structures Leads the design of the ETL solution. Oversees the ETL low-level design and design phase deliverables. Ensures technical designs conform to the overall ETL Architecture standards, adheres to data governance policies and ensures data quality. Performance tunining of data loads. Provides sizing and load estimates. Produces documented application frameworks or architectures. Qualifications 4 Year college degree - Bachelor or equivalent (math, computer science or MIS preferred) 8 + years of experience with ETL development. 5 + years of experince with Informatica. Must have extensive full lifecycle project experience in developing ETL solutions with management and oversight of multiple concurrent complex projects. Expertise in performance engineering and performance management. Experience in sizing infrastructure is preferred. Strong experience in exception handling design. Experience in writing shell scripting for various ETL needs. Experience with integrating data from flat files. Experience in populating ODS and Data Warehouse required. Knowledge of Mortgage Indusgtry is preferred. Advanced knowledge of Relational Database Management System architecture and concepts, including data modeling and database design. Must be self motivated, detail oriented, and have a service oriented attitude. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills Flexible and able to keep pace with software and business industry changes and new technologies.
