*QA/System Test Engineer*

QA/System Test Engineer that that will work closely with the development
team to manage, plan and implement tests for various applications. In this
position you will maintain a record of test progress, document test results,
prepare reports and present results as appropriate. As the QA/System Test
Engineer you will also review manual test cases for the relevant
applications and provide feedback on suitability to the project team.



*Duties and Responsibilities*

·      Design, create and execute automation scripts using Selenium.

·      Assist with manual testing, which includes executing manual test
cases and scripts for products under development using test
management/tracking tools.

·      Establish and configure testing environments for executing test cases
and scenarios.

·      Support, maintain and enhance all test case activities during
iterative development, system testing, regression testing and post
production testing.

·      Research new technologies and test for compatibility with existing
applications.

·      Record and track defects uncovered during the execution of tests
scripts and drive defect toward resolution.

·      Provide timely and accurate status on defect information and
appropriate metrics to facilitate QA reporting.

·      Identify specific performance bottlenecks within testing
environments.



*Required Qualifications*

·      Possess a B.S. Computer Science Engineering or related degree.

·      More than 5 years prior work experience with software testing of
web-based applications using a structured testing methodology.

·      Familiarity with open source automated testing frameworks such as
Apache, MySQL and Postgres/Junit, Mockito and Jmeter.

·      More than 4 years experience with web application testing automation.

·      More than 3 years experience with SOAP UI, Selenium and Mercury
testing tools.

·      More than 3 years prior work experience drawing detailed testing
documentation and procedures using UML compliant diagrams.

·      More than 3 years experience with performance and load test result
analysis.

·      More than 2 years experience using issue tracking/reporting tools
like TrackRecord or JIRA.

·      Prior participation in build and release management.



*Desired Qualifications*

·      Experience with Java Enterprise Edition (EE) applications.

·      Working knowledge and expertise on AS/500 and DB2, SQL Server
experience is a plus.

·      Experience with complex distributed computing environments.

·      Knowledge and experience working with Agile and Waterfall development
methods.

·      Knowledge of UAX design standards and principles.

·      Understanding of Oracle Database products, including SQLDeveloper,
ODBC connectivity and SQL language.

·      Prior work experience with MySQL or DB2 enterprise systems.

·      Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

·      Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.

·      Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
