Qualified candidates will work from their home offices**** ***These are perm positions *** Amzur Technologies, a Tampa, FL-based custom software development and IT staffing firm, seeks two (2) Senior PHP/MySQL Developers for direct hire, work remote positions for a Florida-based client. Our client is the global leader in their industry. They have achieved their leadership status by driving sales through their multiple e-commerce sites. They seek two senior developers to develop & maintain their large-scale (multiple 2.5+ million page) e-commerce sites. These sites are the engines that drive the company, so these are critical roles. *Required Languages & Technologies*: PHP, MySQL, XML, Ajax, JavaScript, SMARTY (preferred), FTP, SSH/ Telnet. Their e-commerce application infrastructure is Linux-based. *Responsibilities:* · This is an application development and administration role · You will work customizing functionality in our client’s PHP/MySQL-based shopping carts · You will integrate external data & systems via PHP/XML (with minimal XSL) · Your day-to-day contact will be with the IT department and occasionally with top management · You will work directly with the IT Director, IT Admin, other PHP Developers, C# Developers and outside vendors – though remotely · None to minimal travel *Required Skills:* · A minimum 5+ years of object-oriented, PHP development experience (libraries, classes & functions) preferably in large-scale e-commerce environment · Fastidious documentation skills · Advanced knowledge of MySQL (optimization/normalization experience bonus) · Advanced knowledge of JavaScript and AJAX · Experience with a revision control system · Ability to take direction from the IT Director and maintain independent focus · Any SEO knowledge or interface design skills a plus but not required · Great written, verbal and visual communication skills · Must possess excellent problem solving skills, and an “ownership” attitude about your work · Must speak and write fluent English · Candidates in, and nearest Florida, and in the Eastern time zone will be given priority consideration * * *Interview Process:* the entire interview process is completed remotely.
