Job Description
The Business Analyst will be responsible for requirements
gathering, design, coordination, testing and support of customer Business
Intelligence (BI) reporting and analytic needs. This person will collaborate
with Senior Management, business process owners, technical staff and project
manager to leverage the use of data and data strategy across a full spectrum
of business needs. They will have detailed knowledge and understanding of
Business Intelligence functions including but not limited to Analytics, Data
Mining, Reporting and Dashboard Development. They will help with
implementation of BI projects based on best practices, innovation and little
supervision.
Required Skills:
· *Minimum 10 years *of proven business analysis experience
· 5-7 years in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse
· 5-7 years in SQL Server or another BI platform
· Experience with business process reengineering and architecture
· Good at heading up meetings to present information in an easily
understood language
· Dimensional Modeling
· Familiarity with BA tools like Caliber and proficient with Use
Case Development
· Expertise in facilitating large groups with diverse backgrounds
for requirement elicitation.
· Metadata Management
· Data Modeling experience with Visio, Erwin, or similar toolsets
desired- Experience with SQL Reporting Services, Crystal, or any other
enterprise report writing toolsets desired
· Experience with ETL tools desired
· BA certification a plus
· Marketing / email marketing background preferred
