Job Responsibilities: · Work on the design, architecture and development of a complex proprietary financial technology system specializing in Consumer Driven Healthcare solutions. The system is developed using Java/J2EE and Oracle. · Complete design, architecture and development tasks for new modules, enhancements and refactoring of existing areas. · Act as the Product Line Owner of some of the modules for the Scrum teams. · Will oversee tasks for other web developers on and offshore. Will act as the peer reviewer and architecture / design reviewer for multiple Scrum teams. · Will interface with customers as needed. · Maintain a state-of-the-art knowledge of existing best practices in J2EE frameworks, Service Oriented Architecture and Ajax / Web 2.0. · Take ownership of critical tasks and major client issues. Help the Production Support team with complex web related issues. · The resource will be required to provide reasonable on call support. To accomplish this obligation, the resource will be required to carry a provided corporate smart phone device and company laptops with VPN access. Job Requirements: · A minimum of 10-15 years of Software Development experience, out of which the majority should be relevant to (Java / J2EE). · Sun certification a plus. · Good knowledge of Oracle SQL and database design will be preferred. · Very good understanding of all leading modern web frameworks like JSF, Seam, Spring, Struts is required. Good knowledge of web 2.0, AJAX and related component frameworks like Rich Faces or Ice Faces will be a plus. · Good understanding of HTML standards, JavaScript libraries like JQuery, Dojo, Section 508 compliance will be required. · Good knowledge on Soap based web services, SAML SSO will be required. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work effectively across multiple business units, external clients and technology partners and fellow team members. · Excellent analytical and design skills at multiple product levels. · Excellent research, analysis and implementation skills. · Degreed This is a fantastic career opportunity with a technology company that values its people.
