Strong understanding of relational and dimensional databases
Detailed understanding of logical and physical modeling standards
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing best practices
Must have experience communicating technical concepts to others
Experience writing detailed source-system design and source-to-target design
documents
Demonstrate the ability to organize and prioritize a heavy workload in a
fast-paced environment
Experience with ER Studio
In depth understanding of SQL Server and Transact SQL and XQuery.
In depth understanding of XSD, XML and XML related technologies.
Proficient testing skills
Education, Training and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems,
or related area of study or equivalent work experience.
Overall 6+ and minimum of 3 years of experience in data warehousing
practices, standard concepts and procedures.
Insurance Industry experience a plus
*Java Developer*
Nashville TN
Contract duration: 4 months (possible extension)
Must have performance testing- *Mercury or JMETER testing*
Assist with performance/ latency testing application deployed on the
weblogic server running on a Linux box. Make database calls to Oracle EBS
ERP environment, Mainframe etc, interacts with other internal web services.
Assist with testing of batch jobs developed using ksh (Korn shell) making
webservice calls, JMS calls, Abinitio graphs etc
Technical Skills:
· Skilled in creating/executing performance test scenarios
· Skilled in creating/executing performance test for web service
using either Mercury or Jmeter
· Skilled in Performance data analysis in Java/J2EE environments
· Skilled in Java/J2EE diagnosis, fixes, tuning for performance
issues
· Able to administer, setup weblogic environments for performance
testing
· Skilled in Mercury Winrunner or any open source performance
testing tools for Java SWING GUI applications
· Strong Java skills
· Object-oriented design
· J2EE platform
· WebLogic Application Server
· JMS, MDBs, web services, and Java batch processing
Identify the root causes for performance and recommend ways to
improve.
