Job# 13264:DBA SQL Performance Tuning Location:Seattle, WA Rate:$60 inclusive Duration:6 months *Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* *Required Years* *Actual Years of Experience* *Year Last Used* *Company Used at* *Skill level (see below)* Excellent understanding of how to root out issues, breakdown the troubled code, identify bottlenecks that are causing slow process issues. 3+ Must be “rock solid” on tuning and looking at execution plans and generating traces with experience tuning SQL for very large databases (4TB+). 3+ Must have DB tuning skills and be able to find and understand DB bottlenecks. 3+ Must know how to sort and look at tkprof output to find problems. 3+ Experience in reviewing AWR reports and understand what to look for 3+ RAC experience, familiar with understanding global cache waits. 3+ Must be able to create SQL Profiles and looking at history of execution plans (not by using OEM). 1+ Strong UNIX shell scripting skills.
