*NEED 2 PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES FROM THEIR PROJECTS* Role: Data / BI Analyst with PL/SQL & SAS Location: NYC Duration: 6 months *NEED LOCALS AS F2F INTERVIEW NEEDED AFTER PHONE SCREENING* This person will be required to take ownership of small semi-automated reporting projects as well support large-scale reporting efforts with insightful business analyses and data. The analyst will be required to integrate data from multiple sources to support analytical and information needs for both internal and external data consumers. The analyst may be asked to participate in large cross-team efforts refining requirements and providing QC / UAT as needed to turn transactional data into analytical data sets, stores and reports. *Required Skills:** Advanced database querying skills - including advanced Oracle PL/SQL or T-SQL (SQL Server) skills are required. Candidates with strong SAS Skills will also be considered. Both are preferred. The ability to turn vague business questions into precise rules and conventions for querying transactional data is a must. The analyst should have experience setting up presentable analyses in MS Excel or similar tool. The ability to provide brief written summaries of analyses and supporting context is also required. *Preferred Skills:** Experience working with data in off-line sources (MS Excel or MS Access) is a plus. *Education/Certifications:** A bachelor's degree is required.
